Across the Balkans

A week on the road through Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia - a journey full of contrasts and quiet beauty.

In Kotor, the narrow streets came alive under heavy clouds and curious cats posing like little locals. Budva offered rugged cliffs and photogenic rocks, while Tirana surprised me with its energy and modern architecture, a city in full transformation. The road finally led me to Ohrid - still, peaceful, and glowing at sunrise, where the lake seemed to hold its breath.

It was one of those trips that remind you why you fell in love with travel in the first place: light, textures, unexpected encounters, and a feeling that every border crossed leaves a mark on you.
