Manon & Bryan - Paris
Two uniforms, a lot of emotion, and a day that moved from Paris to the countryside without losing a bit of intensity.
The morning started at the city hall of the 20th arrondissement. Outside the doors, their colleagues formed a guard of honor, raising their kepis in a perfect arch. The red details of the uniforms against the stone façade, the white gloves and the precision of the gesture made it a highlight of the day. A kiss under a tunnel of hats, half protocol, half pure tenderness. It was strong and symbolic. You could feel the respect they have for their work, and even more for each other.
From there, everyone headed to the church of Saint-Germain de Charonne. The church sits a little apart from the noise of the city, almost like a village.
Later, the atmosphere softened in the fields near the Ferme de la Loge Épeaux in Bézu. Corn rows, open sky, that late-day light that wraps everything in calm.
And then the party. Lights, music, hands in the air, no more ranks or structure, just laughter and dancing. The bride in the middle of the dance floor, completely in it, surrounded by friends shouting the lyrics. The same woman who stood under a guard of honor a few hours earlier, now owning the night. That contrast sums up the whole day: discipline and freedom, tradition and spontaneity, strength and softness.
